This afternoon I was at an upscale salon in Franklin, TN waiting to get my JCM reunion haircut (the one where they make your hair look so good nobody notices you have gained 50 lbs since your college days).

I struck up a conversation with a man about my age also waiting. He said he had just returned from the Hague where he had been the defense attorney in a case before the International Criminal Court

We then proceeded to have a great conversation about Obama care, domestic policy, gutless Republicans, US foreign policy and foreign affairs in general.

Found out his father in law worked for one of my employers cometitors, etc. When his wife came up he told her who I worked for and we had a pleasant conversation about her dad, etc.

I told him about the JCM reunion and he graduated from Mercer Law School the same year I graduated from JCM.

I kept thinking to myself that this is such a smart nice man and he looks familiar as well but I know I have never met him before.

Turns out I was talking with one of the greatest attorneys in the world, Jay Sekulow!!!! He has presented before the United States Supreme Court and has worked hard to defend Christian and traditional Judeo-Christian values.

I have seen his face in countless magazines, newspapers, and on television but never dreamed I would get to have such a cool conversation with him.

Sometimes the coolest things happen in the most unexpected ways.
