Amen. He died because we had to die, in order to DIE AS US.

Heb 9:27-28 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (28) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

By the way, the song here is "He Took My Place", written and performed by.....me(sorry for the sloppiness in recording). God gave me this song when I was just 12 years old and still finding my fingers on the six string. I hope it touches someone.

It is so vital for believers to come to learn THEY DIED WITH CHRIST in Christ's death. We died, were buried, were raised, and were seated together with Him in Heavenly places! It is not just Jesus who died that day. Every believer baptized into His death also died that day WITH Him.
