The Real Truth behind why Minister's Who dislike the UPC but won't Leave..

They have no place to go...

They really need to form another Organization where these folks can go..

They won't go to UPC functions like Youth Rally's... Camp Meetings... and District Functions that their church can be involved in... They withdraw support from UPC sponsered programs... like Foreign Missions.. Youth... and others...

They have their own seperate meetings when they can... they believe and teach seperation of Church & Church..

They Need their Own ORganiZation...

Because they can't leave until they have a place to go..

It's like the "union" mentality that people up north have... they disagree with some things, but it is literally all they know, it is the culture in which they were raised. In the reality we grew up in, there was not such a thing as "out of the UPC" unless you were "backslidden" (a scab).

Well, for me, I left with NO place to go. I wasn't waiting on a place to go, I was trying my best to follow the leading of the Lord. It didn't matter to me if there was someplace to go or not. If the Lord was leading me, I could only follow Him. I believe that I am still doing that and still am not part of any organization. Truthfully, I don't need one. Not against it. Just don't need it. If I or the church ever do need it, I'll join one. Until then, I'll just remain a GIB! :D

Randy,

why do they need a place to go?
especially when they already have their own circle of influence ?
The UPC hardly exist to their people anyways so what's the point ?

Then why stay?

A Independent church can do it's own liscensing and such.
But people form ministerial groups everyday I suppose.
It's a free country like minded people tend to hang together.

I like your quote, ManOfWord. "A Tale of Three Kings" is an incredible book!

Indeed, and many here forget that the King we seek is found in the mirror.

"Who is the Lord's Annointed?

God knows. He does not tell. "
