Why Do You Love Jesus?
 

Sounds like an easy enough question:thumbsup! So why do love Jesus? And to make you think about it you cant use the fact he went to the cross or all the material things he has given you. Think of it as if you are writing a love letter and you were trying to explain to Jesus WHY you love Him! If he never gave you anything else would you still love him? What if He took your most precious treasure whether it be person or thing? Would you still worship him out of love?

He gave His life for me. :heart
He gave me the wonderful gift of the HolyGhost. :heart
He created and blessed me with my wonderful huband, children, grandchildren, mama, daddy, brothers, sisters, friends.......... :heart
He is my friend that I can talk to anytime night or day. :heart

Mercy I could go on and on. :)

Jesus-

More wonderful than my words could ever describe. His manifested presence is a place I never want to leave! I wake up every morning and he is the first thing on my mind. He has been the one thing that has been constant in my life! He never left me nor forsaken me; even when I forsook him. He given me so much peace in the storms of life and I cant count the times He has been there to wipe the tears from my eyes! I lay my head down each night thinking of ways to draw closer to him when I wake.

His mercy has kept me and even his name can bring a smile to my face- even on my darkest days.

One night last year I was hurting really bad and I just wanted someone to love me. I was crying and talking to God while walking around my trailer park. I only seen one shooting star in my life when I was younger, so I asked God that if He loved me to let me see a shooting star. I kept praying and walking but saw nothing till I turned the corner and this massive star shot clear across the sky. It may not mean nothing to no one but me, but to know he love me enough to take time and do something so minor meant the world to me!

Im not perfect and yet He is mindful of me! The Holiest of Holiest, The Soveriegn God of the Universe who not only created the Heavens and The Earth, but He created me and loved me despite all my faults and failures. I long for the day when I step on the other side of the Jordan and can wrap my arms around the love of my life!

Like you there is alot I can say and the reason I ask is that so many people say they love God but can not tell you why they love God! Sometimes I think we just need to stop and consider our motives for loving God! Is it all about what we can get out of it or do we love enough to give something back to him and that something is us!
