I'm watching The Throwdown with Bobby Flay right now. He's doing a throwdown against a woman who makes an omelet she calls a "Racy Tracy".

So I started wondering.............. what are YOUR favorite ingredients in an omelet?

Lots of mushrooms! Yum!

And also some of the following:

Cheese
Onion
Green pepper
Chopped Spinach
Garlic

Besides the eggs, I like small very well done crushed bacon (aka, bacon bits) along with sausage. Mixed in with that either Feta or Bleu cheese crumbles along with finely diced onion and a crushed garlic. Cap it off with just a few drops of Tabasco. It is worthy of being on Tyler Florences "Ultimate".

Mmmmmm, these are all sounding delicious! I like all these new ideas for omelet making :)

At our house, it's usually
eggs
onions (sauted ahead of time)
mushrooms (sauted ahead of time)
bacon (the real stuff!)
cheese (white cheddar is our favorite)
sometimes a little tomato

That's it. pretty plain, eh?

Oh yes, I forgot the fresh picked Jalapenos and green bell peppers.

(ZERO mushrooms. None.)

Eggs. No meats, no cheese. Topped with a little FRESH chopped tomato.
