Names of Churches
 

I have really seen some strange names.

The Church of God in Jesus Name With Signs Following (snake handling)
The First Glorious Church of God in Christ of the Apostolic Faith House of Prayer for All People ( building was about 25 foot wide)

Sounds like the sign was probably longer than the building!

There is a church in New Orleans East on Chef Menteur Hwy called Smokin' For Jesus.... No kidding.

The Rapture Preparation Center

I always enjoyed the UPC Churches in the south when their names were called out at GC.

Is one greater than the other??:hmmm

It refers to the Greater area or vicinity Ron

There is a UPC church called....Jesus Name Church of the Cross
