Hi all. I was raised UPC/Apostolic and left as a teenager. Some bad things happened... but that was a long time ago. So... I'm slightly considering coming back. Love Jesus, but not so sure about the whole concept of actually joining a church again.

So, why am I here. Basically, I wanted to get to know some Apostolic people. :) All the bad stuff that happened to me within an Apostolic church was a long time ago, I'd like to forget all that and discover for myself what the Apostolic community is like now. I've lurked here for awhile, some AFF threads came up in a random search I did and when I started reading I was pleasantly surprised. There wasn't nearly as much.. um... I don't know what word to use but lets just say the kindness and Biblical views expressed by several here were not at all like my memories of growing up Apostolic. lol

So, hi everyone, look forward to getting to know you. :)

Welcome to the group.

I hope you find a good church where you feel welcome and acceptable, whether it is an Apostolic Church of not.
