Well, I know quite a few people here on this forum but do not think anyone knows me enough TO KNOW THAT ANSWER...SO I WILL TELL YOU...
HOWEVER IF YOU KNOW ME WELL YOU WILL KNOW I AM COMPLETLY UNAWARE OF STYLES, smells of perfumes, WHAT PEOPLE WEAR, WHAT MAKE THE CARS ARE AND ON AND ON...MY KIDS, THE CHURCH FOLKS AND ALL LAUGH AT HOW I GO THROUGH LIFE WITHOUT EVEN NOTICING THINGS…LOL
THE LORD MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO FINANCE A BEAUTIFUL VAN... SOME MAY REMEMBER I POSTED A FEW PICTURES OF IT NOT LONG AGO (2005)
In Campinas ( South Brazil) a few weeks ago I walked out of the church and saw a van at a distance that was parked right under a light...a beautiful van...I said to the doorkeeper, “wonder whose van that is” and he said, I donīt know missionary...I said, wow that sure is beautiful. Wonder if it belongs to someone from Raul Jrīs church and he said I donīt know...I said, Sergio, whoever owns that van must be rich (Cars are real expensive here) I was at the door waiting for a pastor to come pick me up as I was going to another church to preach. So finally I said, Sergio, whoever owns that van must be really rich...
Well, Sergio had not seen the van my husband bought so he really had no clue whose van it was...finally the pastor from the other church came by and I said to him when we get to the corner, “go slow, I WANT TO TAKE A LOOK AT THAT BEAUTIFUL VAN.”
He stopped and of a sudden it dawned on me, that is the van, Brother Alvear bought…well the pastor and I had a good laugh and my sermon that night was…A blessing so big that you do not even recognize as yours….
I was telling the church about the van last night….
