Apostolic Friends Forum - May your day be filled with praise!

Hi everyone I am new to this forum and a little rusty in typing so forgive me. I have been born again since May 1996 and I am still learning the word of God in my life. I come from a background of Primitive Baptist which you may not have heard of. It is a southern group that is real strick and has some hard views to follow. Actuall my Dad was a preacher and still is for over 50 years now. I kind of went away from them because of their belief in no musical instruments, not allowed to raise your hands, speak in tongues and dance in the spirit. I have always had a conflict with that and prayed that God would lead me to his church. That is how I found Maranatha Church of God totally by him. Thank you Lord! Its been like HOME to me if you can understand that and I'm free to worship God in the spirit. Praise the Lord. God Bless each and everyone.
