And don't LIE!!! I was thinking of setting up a poll.

I received a warning ticket for NOT using my blinker. I didn't even know it was against the law AND I asked about 10 people and they didn't know it was either! The other 10 ten knew. :heeheehee

Anyway, I didn't use my blinker because no one was behind me. Where did the cop come from?!!!!! :toofunny

All these years of driving, I just used it for safety purposes. To alert other drivers. I never knew it was against the LAW!!!!!! :toofunny

I knew, but only because I remember the cop who gave me my driving test mentioning it to me. While he was distracting me with talk about blinker's for safety I broke the speed limit, ran a stop sign and almost hit a pedestrian. LOL!

(that's an exaggeration btw :winkgrin)

Yes. I knew. And I live in Texas, where it is said "if you see a car with its blinker on, it probably came that way." :lol

It's on the test that the kids take when they get their driver's license for the first time. So yes, I knew :) I don't know alot, but I did know that. (don't we have a smiley for patting myself on the back?)

He takes my license and goes back to his car. I'm sitting there thinking, "Did I hear him right?" So, when he comes back with my license and the warning I said, "Now, what did you say that I did again?" LOL!

He tells me and I said, "Does everyone know that?" He replies, with a smile or was it a smirk?, "I hope they do." :toofunny

LOL! As a veteran Defensive Driving taker (dont ask), i certainly do know you are legally required to use your blinker for turning and lane changing.
