DWTS - Objective Viewership

So last night former Pop Star, Brandy was voted off the show. Brandy, whose dancing many thought would be a finalist and possible winner (between her and Jennifer Gray) lost, while Bristol Palin remained on the show.

Anyone that has watched this show is beside themselves. Palin has consistently gotten the lowest dancing marks on the show yet is being kept on the show by viewers. But why?

My take is that DWTS needs to come up with a rule similar to American Idol, where they can bring back someone they feel should still be dancing.

America is getting this one wrong. It's a dancing show.

Brandy's attitude got her voted off.

Whaaaaaa??? Her attitude?? lol

It was her partner that had the tude, if anyone.

What judge complained about Brandy's attitude? It's a dancing competition... she was consistently getting better and outperforming everyone. She had a will to win.

As we do sports contests, trivia and sometimes even on AFF. Yes, beside ourselves. Imagine that.

Beside themselves = surprised = shocked = stunned.

Sheesh... can't win to lose with you.

It is about the viewers. No viewers, the show goes off the air. Brandy can still dance. any time and anywhere. :bliss

And what does this say about the viewers? Are they judging a dance contest or playing politics?

Re: DWTS - Objective Viewership

Fact is, they get the viewers no matter what. Stars are dancing. That attracts viewers. Artists playing on elimination nights, that attracts viewers.
