It's a girl...well, probably :)
I had an appointment with a specialist this morning (I'm considered high risk because of my age, 36). Everything looked normal and their were no markers for down's syndrome.
I was really surprised that they were willing to venture a gender, as I am only 14 weeks along. The tech was about 75% confident, but the Dr. was even more so! I can safely start shopping for girlie things! Besides, I am pragmatic...I have another ultrasound in 6 weeks, so if they change their minds by then I can take all the girl stuff back, LOL |

(My mother is always insisting that you need a backup, because when my older sister was born, she didn't "look" like the name they had picked out) |

You could name her after me. :)

Whooohoo! Little girlies are fun! (and you don't have to worry about the circumcising thing)
Yep, I think names need to "match" the baby! |

He thought that was crazy, because how could you miss what didn't exist? And I tried to explain that before you know there is a possibility of both, and I think as women we think about those possibilities a lot more. Or is that just me?? At any rate, he said "too bad, this is the only one you get" LOL |
