They should make this a Winter Olympic category .... this has to increase the degree of difficulty on the slalom twenty fold.

When we went to Lake Tahoe we saw some gals from the Netherlands. They were wearing some traditional looking dress which included a little skirt. I don't think there was anything religious about it, but it looked modest even while giving a nod to femininity and tradition. I thought it was nice, and did not look out of place.

About the pics you posted? Aren't those skirts sort of long?

I somehow do not see those skirts providing all that much maneuverability.... That is unless they have slits up to the waist. :)
