Jesus Christ is greater than the Bible. But diminishing the Bible for the sake of Christ always loses Christ.

JERRY DEAN:
I thought Jesus was the Bible. The Word became flesh! John 1:14. Guess I shouldn't have tweeted that, or maybe I should have.

Sounds like our brother thinks that the Logos is somehow framed around the concept of a canonized scripture. The Word preceded what we have and call, the canon.
