brand new to oneness
 

hello all,my name is Linda, I came to the Lord and was baptized in the holy ghost with tounges in 1995, never knowing nothing of oneness doctrine, but during the last six months or so of 2010, I noticed that i had begun seeking and asking God to show more about who he is, and was also doing some agonizing with him about my relationship's with the different parts of who I thought he was, if they were what they were supposed to be,as well as seeking complete intimacy with him,at this same time i was asking him to lead me to a church were the preacher allowed the holy ghost to the lead the service.then a distant cousin who is and apostolic preacher called me, he began to open the truth to me,and prayed that i would recieve revelation and boy did I ! it started coming in waves, I started at his church around christmas 2010, was baptized in Jesus name 3 weeks ago.the truth has become my pearl of great price,my worship has more meaning, the anointing and power of God is so much greater than before and no more confusion :happydance. so many prayers answered at once. I came here looking for support, you see my husband is lost, my mother thinks i have lost my mine, my best friend just looks at me out of the corner of her eyes, plus word on the street is that i am brainwashed and i have itching ears.but all I know is i am so glad that Jesus choose to reveal himself to me for all that he is .

Welcome to AFF! And congrats on your faith mission. God can and will do great things for you; keep seeking Him along the way, and take your time doing it. One word of caution from the experienced: let God convict you of those things you need to let go of, if any. If your "brothers" and "sisters" start telling you what you should and should not do, the red flags should go up immediately. God's grace and mercy are far more than what man could ever offer, and God is slow to anger. So whatever you might be sorting through in order to get you closer to God, let Him be your guide and do so with His love. Doing so will allow your husband, friends, and other family notice the difference over time...as opposed to immediately jumping from one extreme to another, causing needless heartache and pain for you and the others. Hello. Glad that God has revealed things to you. If you will continue to seek the will of God like you have been seeking him then God will help you. Don't let what others think make you stop seeking the face of God. He is the pearl of great pride. He is the greatest treasure you will ever find.

Glad you are here! Even more glad that you have received greater revelation who Jesus is. I started out in the Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches also. It was some years later my own eyes were opened to this great truth. Nothing I have ever learned has impressed my soul as much as this revelation.

Some people always wonder: why oneness Christians are always preaching God was manifest in flesh? why are they so excited to preach that Jesus is in fact the everlasting father? Trinity Christians do not spend time preaching trinity from their pulpits?

They do not realize it goes beyond theology. There's something about the revelation of who Jesus is. There is so much joy that comes with the revelation. It's not something any man can teach you (though we may preach it), it has to completely come from the Holy Spirit.

Indeed "...no man knoweth the Father, but the Son and he to whom the Son will reveal Him." (Luke 10:22)

I can definitely identify with you when you say your worship is much more meaningful. It's like you actually know who you are serving by name and more intimately. There's no more confusion as to who the true God is. The true God is Jesus Christ, Amen!!!

Eyeopener, praise the Lord for where you're at in your christian journey. The same Lord who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
