Revised Romans Road
Revised Roman Road to Spiritual Maturity
Found therein is a great parallel to the Acts 2 experience. Romans I believe breaks down nicely into a pathway of Spiritual Maturity, keep in mind the authors didn’t use chapters. But here is the outline. Romans 1-3 The universal declaration that we are all sinners, summed up in Rom. 3:25 Romans 4-5 Jesus is the solution to the sin problem; faith in Jesus brings justification. Romans 5:1 summary verse Romans 6-Union with Christ through Baptism, and the New Identity of the Believer who has trusted Jesus, places us out of Adam into Christ. Romans 7-The inability of the Believer to overcome the old nature; the failure of law (moralism) to remedy sin. Romans 8 The purpose of the Spirit is to help the Believer overcome the old nature Romans 9-11 What about Israel, has the church replaced Israel? No! Romans 12-15 Practical Concerns of the Disciple's Lifestyle |
