Silver at 34
 

Wow! Does anyone know what is causing the upward trend in silver in the last few days? (I am aware of the longer term trends). $34.00 an ounce! Wow!

An expectation of the crash of the dollar. People are trading in their fiat money that they fully expect to be worthless for something that will hold it's value so they don't lose all of their wealth when the dollar loses it's value.

I would imagine it has a lot to do with all of the upheaval in Egypt, Bahrain etc.
