Not shocked or surprised.

Politics as usual for most in the business. And, make no mistake, it is a business for most and it is run as such.

The main thing that keeps me baffled about all of this is how the dem side acts like something like this is some big bombshell and it finally backs up all they have ever said about the repubs. The repubs will see it as harmless and blown out of proportion. And both sides would have the polar opposite reaction were the tables turned.

Partisan blindness is also partisan oblivion to reality.

JD - I've never been a Palin supporter, but what did you find so bad in the article?
I didn't see any great revelations or surprises.
I didn't see that she had a drinking problem.
Or was an aldulterer.
Or killed someone.

I guess if she had the Dems would have made an icon out of her.

He wouldn't have wrote the book to say good things about her, and expect to make money. And we don't know if those are "her" quotes. They may be true and they may be lies. Is she the only "Christian" in the GOP? And why are you so hung up with slamming them?

I hope it does, because one sure way for the President to be re-elected is for Sarah Palin to be the republican nominee.

I would vote Democrat out of spite if Palin even appeared on the ticket.

Mind you, I didn't vote Democrat in '08 and I remain a registered Republican. There is a guy named Allen West that has an underground following-- but I fear that what makes him attractive some is the same thing that made Steele attractive to the same folks.

We shall see.

Not trying to slam the Christians in the GOP Cindy-- just Palin because I don't like her.

I think she has destroyed her own image with her own words and actions.

I think that if she appeared on any GOP ticket any time soon, she would doom that ticket.

I wish that she would disappear into a wilderness for about 40 years and then re-emerge wiser and ready to lead our country.

Ah, so she is the only one not allowed to be a hypocrite? I hope she doesn't get on the ticket either. Our country needs a leader, and I don't care which party they are from.
