Please pray for a friend and her family.
Her sister just had a baby early. The baby seems to be doing well, but her sister is not at all. The baby was born via emergency c-section because Melissa's platelets had dropped dangerously low. I don't really know what this means, what causes it, or anything else. What I do know is that now Melissa is still under sedation and will be until tomorrow at the earliest. Her blood pressure keeps spiking and her platlets keep dropping. I can't imagine what her family is going through right now, but I know they could sure use prayer right now.
