If you have a handgun permit and your state allows the transfer of machine guns, you can purchase one. Or you are required to have a C&R License - The FFL03/C&R License is useful for anyone who is interested in purchasing surplus / military surplus rifles and/or pistols.

But, I think him being law enforcement, he can get his hands on anything he wants.

I don't think being law enforcement means getting military equipment and fully automatic 50 cals for deployment does it?

Well, they get M-16s and all the rest of it. Besides, he made it public, so I'm thinking if he had no right to it, he wouldn't have disclosed the information, right?

Well yeah the get M-16s

I don't know if they are fully auto or semi. Not that it would matter going against someone else unless the smugglers have fully auto.

But a 50 cal gun? wow
