Bible Book Club

Beginning in March I will do an overview of the book of Genesis.

We have several options on how to do it and I would love to have your feedback.

1. We can go chapter by chapter. Kind of like an AFF commentary.

2. We can review by subject.

3. You can randomly post what you want about this book.

If we have enough interest and partcipation we can set this up as a sub catergory here in the Library for easier access.

Please respond if this would be something you would be interested in either to participate or read only.

Thanks

I think that would be neat, and would love to see input from the likes of rrford, CS.

Me too :) and Steadfast!

Shouldn't start calling names.

I love to hear from everyone. :)

Since the interpretation of Genesis is open to conjecture it might be helpful to place it in it's historical setting and to present the history of it's divergent views.

BTW, please go thru it verse by verse.

"My" history????? :heeheehee

My problem with a lot of 'bible studies' is that it becomes a 'what does the Bible mean to me' and all objectiveness is thrown out.

Everyone has a bit of bias in them, because we all have a "viewpoint" on certain issues.

Agreed but the Word of God doesn't take that into account.
