Got the email I been waiting on. My family health insurance went from $666/month to $710/month, effective May.

Now, what exactly was Obamacare supposed to do for me ?

It was suppose to shore up the liberal base of the democrat party.

Ours went up too. PLUS, now we have to pay 100% of office visits, medical testing, etc. until we meet the huge deductiable.

The good news is: (at least I hope it translates into help for us at some point)

Medicare premiums deducted from my Social Security check and from my wife's social security check remained the same in 2011 as the 2010 amount.

The premium for my Medicare supplement deducted from my pension check remained the same in 2011 as the 2010 amount.
