Tornados... 89+ dead in Joplin, MO
We had some storms and hail today, but South and west of here it was bad.
JOPLIN, Missouri -- A tornado ravaged parts of Joplin Sunday, killing at least 24 people as the powerful storm took out hundreds of homes and businesses. Jasper County Emergency Management Director Keith Stammer says a tornado hit the St. John's Regional Medical Center on the city's south side. One resident living nearly 45-miles away from the hospital told KOAM his yard is now full of debris from the hospital-- medical supplies and x-rays. http://www.news9.com/story/14693976/...f-south-joplin |

Re: Tornados... 24+ dead in Joplin, MO
We had some hail and about 2" of rain in an hour but nothing serious.
when x-ray equipment lands 45 miles away, thats quite a wind! I pray for those families effected. I am afraid that death toll is going to rise. |

According to the report, it hit a hospital but thank the Lord that all it did was blow out the windows in one of the wings.
