Heavy Burdens
 

Why does God keep heavy burdens lingering on earth for years rather than take them on to Heaven ?

I'm referring to the mentally ill, physically disabled, invalids, old, alzheimers patients, etc. Lingering is not only hard on those being burdened, but often on the one who is the burden to others.

This question is not meant to be callous, but I'm wanting an honest answer.

Could it be that many times, those who love these "burdens" just won't stop
praying and let them go. Not willing to give them up? Just a thought.
Seems in my own lifetime, God has allowed us to see our dear loved ones
struggle and suffer, just long enough for us (me) to get willing to give them
up. (Lord, not my will, but Thine be done). I am speaking primarily about
aged grandparents, parents, etc.

What don't all these high minded professing believers with all of this power walk in the fullness and person of the Holy Ghost and do what Jesus told them to do, and that is; heal the sick and deliver the oppressed from the bondage of the devil who has taken them at his will
.
There's a lot of talk and debate about things pertaining to Jesus and his ability to work through people.The principle of faith in his word is constantly debated.All the knowledge that is shown in these forums just sounds like a lot of thunder but you don't see any lightening.
Currently there is enough so-called and professing believers on this earth, that, every person who is sick and in need of a touch of the Lord should have had the opportunity by the hand of someone to have received it.
Like wise, the gospel should have been preached years ago with every ear hearing it directly from on a singular basis.
People are sick and oppressed and need deliverance and here we sit with all this power and knowledge in all things which we claim to have from God. Interesting isn't it?

Talk and talk, that's what you hear. Action acts louder than words.
I in no way make any excuse for myself by any means.

I wish I had not obtained all this doctrinal knowledge and I was back in the days when I first received the Holy Ghost. In those days I believe Jesus in all things and saw the power of healing and deliverance in peoples lives. I would pray for everyone, at work during break, on the street in the middle of downtown, in the back of the church or parking lot.
When a person came up to me with a problem I didn't try to find some logical answer in mans wisdom of things. I would grab that person and in the spirit before JESUS we would go.
You know what, there was deliverance in those days before Doctor Phil !!

God is still doing Great healings, saving souls, delivering souls! Just because we are
not personally seeing everything, doesn't mean GOD is not doing GREAT THINGS.
HE is KEEPING souls, Protecting souls. and many other things! According to your
faith be it unto you! And I don't trust in Dr. Phil for anything! LOL!
