Why is God good/holy?

Can you imagine if God were evil or amoral? Why is God good/holy? I think it is because God wants to be worshipped and only a good/just/holy God is worthy of worship. I wonder if God had these thoughts before creation and decided to be good or if He has been eternally good. Why do you think we have a good God?

Holy is HIS nature. He always has, and always will be The Holy One.
