itunes and iphone
 

I bought an iphone last night and I can't figure out how to sinc or download a song from my itunes account to iphone. Actually, my real problem is downloading the song I bought.

I am able to sinc songs I downloaded from CD's.

Anyone know how?

Can you log into your account on your iphone? ITUNES should be on your iphone. You have to get iTunes if it is not there yet.

I have itunes. I wanted to download this song for a ringtone on my ringmaker I downloaded. I couldn't find the song in my ipod list of songs and went to itunes to purchase it. It said I had already purchased but not downloaded. Said to check available downloads from Store menu.

I can't get the song to download and can't figure out why???

That is the only one I purchased says not downloaded.

My niece bought and downloaded one last year that shows on my list, but it has been downloaded.

If you have Itunes installed on a PC, you should just be able to plug the phone into the PC and run Itunes and it syncs automatically, though you might have to have it recognize the phone if you've synced with other devices before other than that phone

Esther, try using iTunes on your computer, and check your account for the song you purchased. If your iphone did not download it, then you should still be able to download it into your computer. Then when you attach your iphone to the computer while the computer is running iTunes, the song in your computer will move into your iphone. You actually sync from computer to iphone, not from iphone account to iphone. It is iphone and computer that synchronize.

Or,you may have downloaded it into the iphone but cannot find it in there. If so, the computer will pick it up when you sync with the computer and iphone. And it will be in your computer as well. Then you can take it from there and do more with it. But do this first if you can.

Syncing to your computer will back up the contents of the iphone into your computer.

Sometimes when you D/L a song to a phone it does not go where you want it to.

ok got my songs downloaded on my phone. But I can't get my ringtone to work right.
