Stop the spending!!!!
 

Recently one of the AFF liberals was questioning the education of Sarah Palin. I have a question for all the liberals. Why does Obama's education not measure up to him being able to understand.... "Stop The Spending!"

The President is criticizing the corporate jet owners while he has used Air Force One and all of the other jet consuming, gasoline consuming vehicles more than any other president, ever.

It's stop spending for all of us but the elites in Washington D.C. are into our wallets "full speed ahead!" spending like drunk sailors. (Sorry sailors!)

STOP SPENDING! If we don't have the money then STOP THE SPENDING! If we can't pay for the Obama Healthcare Extravaganza then STOP IT! STOP SPENDING! If we can't afford the fuel for Air Force One and Michelle's Air Force Two then STOP SPENDING! If we are as far in the hole as is stated then STOP HAVING PARTIES AT THE WHITE HOUSE! That cost money, too!

Maybe the following would help STOP SOME OF THE SPENDING!

Congressional Reform Act of 2011 (Proposed)

1. No Tenure / No Pension for senators or representatives. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

2.. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12. ****The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

Final word.. STOP THE SPENDING!

Let's start by eliminating all social programs, including Social Security, Medicare, and Welfare. Those are the programs that will bankrupt us. Sorry, but even though you paid into it, it doesn't really mean you are entitled to it. The amusing part of this is how many people who are absolutely resolute that SS is "owed", a "trust fund", and "a duty" are in support of means testing. The only "means test" we need is "does the government have the means to fulfill its promises?" The real problem is Medicare which is approximately $80 to $100 trillion under water, whereas SS is around $10 to $20 trillion in the hole. Plain and simple, and this is the truth, which is gonna hurt some folks feelings, but anyone who insists on receiving SS in any way shape or form is simply a thief asking the government to do their dirty work for them. Furthermore, these welfare programs (SS/Medicare/Welfare) are all examples of Socialism/Statism/Marxism at its best.
