Fulness of the Godhead

I'm new to this site, so if this is posted somewhere else feel free to move it.

I'm a One God believer and have studied and watched some Trinity-Oneness debates and I haven't found anywhere where Trinity's explain Colossians 2:9

Was just curious as to how they interpret that scripture. Not here to swirl the triple winds

I have

First of all it must be understood what Godhead means. The original greek word might be translated differently in something better than the KJV

NET
Col 2:9 For in him all the fullness of deity lives in bodily form,

Trinitarians, like us, believe that in the Son, lives all the fullness of Deity "in bodily form"...in other words Christ is not just a man but is fully God too

How do they get 3 separate persons out of that scripture?

They don't.

As I said they get the Deity of the Son out of it. They use other verses to get the idea of three persons

BTW The Historical Doctrine of the Trinity never separates the persons. It only distinguishes them

When a Trinitarian says "separate" they are violating their own doctrinal tenets and moving towards Tritheism

Re: Fulness of the Godhead

Does the fullness of the Godhead reside in every Holy Ghost filled believer? Does that make them deity if it does? If not what part of the fullness of the Godhead is lacking in the Holy Ghost filled believer?

I don't think that God is upset about being divided into three parts in the minds of men..

There's the Father on the throne..his Word at his right hand, and his divine Spirit is everywhere..

To sit on his throne is to see everything perhaps all of eternity ...which is incomprehensible to our feeble little minds

sooooo.. when you sit at his right hand ...

your mind will be blown away..:laffatu

The New Testament defines the believer as being in Christ..when he is filled with the Holy Spirit it is experienced...his inner man is regenerated by the Holy Spirit and the evidence of the Resurrection is in that person..life everlasting ..

we are members of his body we are all of one God who dwells in us..let us unify inthe Spirit..

The fullness of Deity does not reside in every believer

Nor are we "the fullness of Deity in bodily form"

It's not analogous

I think the question was, does the fullness of the *GODHEAD* reside in every believer.

Doesn't the fullness of the Godhead abide in Jesus?
