I Told You Back In 2008---You Wouldn't Listen

Many Obama supporters on here back in '08 were giving all of their reasons why we needed to have a president like Barak Obama. He was a young, vibrant, telegenic politician who gave many Americans a sense of hope. To many of us there was enough in his history, his statements, his associations and his campaign that we warned those of you who voted for BO or those who sat out the election or voted third party that four years of Obama would do severe damage to this nation that it would not be worth itto have him elected. Some of you said, "It took a Jimmy Carter to give us Ronald Reagan." Really foolish logic.

For the first time in American history, a hundred year's worth of AAACredit rating, a rating that endured WWI, the stock market crash in 1929, the Great Depression, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, 9/11, we have been downgraded to AA+. The blame for this must be laid at BO's feet.

There hasn't been a budget submitted in two years. The president had all year to lead the way on the debt ceiling issue and refused to submit a formal plan. All we got from him was lectures and calling on the Congress to do something about it. Standard and Poor warned Washington that unless $4 trillion in spending cuts over the next 10 years was agreed to, our rating would be at risk. Obama would barely agree to $2.3 trillion.

He is the POTUS. He is the most powerful and influential man on the planet. He was noticably on the sidelines when it came to this issue. He came out this week blaming Bush, the Japanese earthquake & tsunami, etc. No leadership, only blame.

You realize that the "cuts" are actually cuts in the growth of spending not real cuts like you and I consider cuts in our spending. This situation is a mess. If you still are blindly supporting Obama, if you plan to vote for him in 2012, I guess if Obama were caught with an intern in the Oval Office you wouldn't believe it even if she could produce a blue dress...

Barak Obama must NOT get reelected! We cannot afford four more years of his presidency.

It's as if he's drowning with no way out.

This situation is reaching crisis proportions unseen in our lifetimes. We are a nation with no leadership.

We lost so much from our 401K in 2008, that we have rolled everything that can possibly be invested in bonds since that day. We lost over half of our retirement fund because of the plummet in the stocks. We are contributing only the minimum percentage of payroll allowed to keep from losing the rest of it in penalties for letting it close out. We are still losing money, but at least it's only trickling out a few pennies a quarter instead of hundreds of dollars each quarter. I don't see things getting better anytime soon.

Our savings have gone into stocking non perishable groceries and survival items, and getting ourselves completely out of debt. At least we will get some benefit from the money and not just have it sucked out of our retirement account.

The very plain fact that BO hasn't submitted a budget in over 2 years, coupled with the fact that the Dem controlled Senate hasn't passed a single budget bill in as long either shows just how the Democrat party "governs."

They don't. They demand blank checks. We someone stands up to them and asks to see a budget or other type of plan, the Dems all cry out, "YOU'RE AN EXTREMIST!!!"

These people need to be sent home and put in line at the unemployment office so that they can see the failure of their system.

I seriously doubt that Obama will be voted out of office. With the unions and George Soros and the Chicago political machine gone national plus ACORN (by whatever name they are hiding under now) the actual vote figures will have no resemblance to the numbers officially reported which is what the election is based upon.
