Beach Service Last Night
 

So I wore shorts to "church" for the first time ever last night!


We gathered at Cocoa Beach and with guitars, harmonica and our voices, we began to praise and worship the Lord.

Some of the people on the beach joined us from time to time as we sang unto the Lord.


It was a nice experience and I had been meaning to get to the beach anyway, but I noticed something that hit me right between the eyes when I realized it.



Several of the leaders were NOT wearing shorts. They were wearing jeans and t-shirts. No one wore a tank top.

At least two of the women were wearing skirts.

None of the women from the church came wearing a bathing suit.


The teenage guys went into the water took their shirts off for that, but when done, put them right back on.

1 teeneage girl had a bathing suit for the water, but had clothes to cover her bathing suit once out of the water. The other girls wore shorts, t-shirts, jeans, or skirts.


I just thought it was interesting to see the actions of these Christians in this situation.

The Bible clearly states women can only swim in blue jean skirts, T Shirts with sleeves to the elbow, and tennis shoes.
