Jesus forsaken?

Does anyone have an understanding of what actually happened when Jesus cried, "my god, my god why has thou forsaken me?" was jesus simply quoting psalm 22 or was there some kind of separation between sinful humanity and holy deity of jesus?

some here will tell you he was just quoting,

The fact is Jesus repeated the words that david had spoken, david had given a messianic prophecy which Christ would actually live out,

Think about it God has a Holy hatred of Sin.

Jesus a man who knew no sin became sin so that we could be made rightous through Him . 2 corinthians 5:21

Look up the word forsook the definition is self explanitory

forsook
1. Abandon (someone or something):
2. Renounce or give up

we can see by the definition it ment seperation

Its probably the hardest thing jesus felt besides the physical pain of the cross

He could emphathize with David who also was not forsaken by God but certainly felt that way\

IF God did separate Himself from Jesus before dying then we are not saved

Heb 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

Jesus was our sinless/spotless sin offering

Jesus' mind, was human and therefore subject to human emotions

he was so emotionally distraught just thinking about being crucified that his body broke down and he sweated blood.

He felt forsaken. But God has promised he would never leave or forsake us.

i dont have to bend scriptures to make it read something else. I can keep the scripture as it is and use the definitions of the words written

Jesus was absolutly the lamb of God,
Jesus absolutly was human

Not just his mind, but everything else as well, this is why he is called the son of man
He was scared of this cup that was given him by His Father YHWH, but none the less Not my will (jesus will) be done but thine will (YHWH's will) be Done.

Amen

Facts
Jesus was not only to death our spotless lamb, innocent for the guilty, he was offered through the Spirit up until death

Heb 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

God did not and could not separate Himself from Jesus any more than God had forsaken David. David felt that way and so did Jesus

II cor 5:21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Made to be what? a sinner? no. WHat was Christ? he was our spotless lamb..the innocent for the guilty

He was the sin offering for us.

1Pe 1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.
Heb 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
