He went on and came to Jerusalem and he saw Queen Jezebel sitting high up in a window. When she saw him she laughed. And he said, "Throw her down out of there," and they threw her down. And he said, "Throw her down again," and they threw her down seventy times seven times, and of the fragments they then picked up twelve baskets full. Now whose wife will she be in the resurrection?

A certain church asked a potential pastor to give them a parable from the Bible, and after he presented this parable listed earlier, none could answer the question. Feeling they were inadequate and awed by this man, not being able to answer his question, they voted him in as pastor right away.

I've heard preaching just about as convoluted. The sad thing is many church members don't know the difference. I've heard sermons about Moses building the Ark and Noah crossing the Red Sea.
