Maybe I Just Met A Very Special Lady

I just met her.

Yes she is a Christian.

No, she is not O P.

I just got her number... memorized.

No, we haven't gone out to dinner yet, but will soon.

No, I am not rushing anything or jumping to any conclusions.

No, I am not pressed and will not be pressed.

But WOW is she pretty, and she has a bit of an accent too!

Yes, I will post about our eventual first date, and maybe even our second date, if it gets that far.

It will be a nice to take a lady out to dinner again-- much more enjoyable than taking my dog to the local frozen yogurt shop.
:)

Congratulations my dear friend. I hope you have found someone to share your life with.

How are you doing otherwise?

Big Sis!

Finding and joining a church whose doctrine on salvation I believe has turned out to be a very good decision.

The acceptance into the family of God-- scars, flaws, and all-- has helped me to travel a thousand miles down the road spiritually-- when for the last 12 - 13 years, I couldn't seem to make as much progress. I have accountability partners and small group meetings where we take off our masks, peel back the scabs, and experience the fruit of confession and repentance-- victory and healing.

Financially, things are not as bad as they could be. There are times when my attitude could be better about where I am. I don't want to wander in this financial wilderness the same length of time the Jews wandered in their wilderness while on their way to the Promised Land.

Job wise, there may be a promotion in my near future-- but I may have to leave Orlando to get it and I am not sure I want to risk messing up the progress I have made in a key area of my life by moving too soon. It would be nice if I can get promoted here.

I still intend to start my own business, again, within the next few months.

Dog-wise, my dog, "Beauty" keeps getting this weird infection and has become VERY emotionally needy, more so than before. She is very anxious when I am not home with her, even if others are home. Unfortuantely, I may have to get rid of her. When I work my long hours, she becomes so nervous and whiny that even my neighbors are commenting.

Stll, she was doing the cutest thing earlier this afternoon. While I was mowing the lawn, she kept attacking the lawnmower. She was growling, barking incessantly and she attempted to snap her jaws on the tires! :)

I was happy to see this because she usually doesn't show any aggression at all.

Hopefully, I haven't rambled too much for you to read everything.

You are crazy! LOL

I'll give it a few days and then call. If she remembers me, then it is a good thing.

If not, I'll probably still have my dog.

I am glad things are going better in some things. Especially spiritually, and that you are where you need to be with the church you are attending.

Congratulations on the promotion. Hope you can stay on course, and stay where you are. :)

Sounds like you need the Dog Whisperer, poor thing. Separation anxiety is sad, hope she gets better. BTW the behavior with the lawn mower is NOT a good sign. It's all part of her "problem."

You didn't ramble too much at all. Praying for you and am so happy for you. God is faithful. Love you much, little brother. :friend
