Should Amanah be quiet and start drinking?

Should Amanah quit posting on this forum, and take up drinking wine instead?

However:
[Speak to] the older women, likewise, that their behavior be appropriate to sacredness, not false accusers, not prone to much wine, teachers of good things; so that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, pure, keepers of their home, good, submitted to their own husbands, so that the Word of God will not be blasphemed.

So, if you are an un-submissive woman, You Blaspheme the Word of God, which is Christ, the Spirit of the Almighty, the Holy Ghost. And we all know what happens when you Blaspheme the Holy Ghost.

Nor Cal's comments aren't worth a thread to refute, imho.

"You Blaspheme the Word of God, which is Christ, the Spirit of the Almighty, the Holy Ghost. And we all know what happens when you Blaspheme the Holy Ghost."

... no offense, Nor Cal; but that's completely incoherent - and I thought you and I usually agree on most stuff.

Matthew 12:24-32 - "...Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."

The pharisees were saying that Jesus was casting out demons by the power of the devil. Jesus, of course, understood that His power and authority came from the Spirit of Almighty God.

According to this passage, someone could "blaspheme" Christ and later find repentance (though I would not recommend anyone try this). The Holy Spirit is ... "Someone else?" "Something else?" ... than "Christ, the Word of God."

Keep right on posting Amanah, but don't let that dissuade you from a little wine - for your stomach's sake.

I believe Amanah should continue loving Jesus with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength. The glass of wine occasionally wont hurt one who is encountering him.

"houston" is a wonderful and dear brother. You are a good friend for him to have Bezerkly. Much love and prayers to both of these brothers. Both of these two completely different guys who don't even post anything in any way similar to each other. We're all fellow travelers.
