should welfare be changed to make them work for a pay check?

Absolutely.
If someone is drawing a regular paycheck why shouldn't the government get some labor out of it. |

They should have to work and they should have to prove they have spent time looking for a job.

And, mandate drug tests on those who seek welfare. I don't care what the reason is. Report monthly living and entertainment expenses. Also, don't allow $30k-$50k cars belonging to other people (those who work) to be driven by those on welfare -- they're poor enough to seek government assitance, they shouldn't be driving their momma's, daddy's, aunties, or granny's Escalade, Mercedes, BMW, etc. I could go on... |

Not in favor of adding to the gov bureaucracy. Welfare should not be a Federal program and I have my doubts whether it should exist in any gov form.

No, they should be helped/trained to get off welfare and enter the public work sector. There are too many government workers now
