Halloween in the Philippines
I have always despised all the hooplah about Halloween in the U.S., but in the Philippines, it is especially dark and creepy. They spend the night in the cemetery, drinking and communicating with their dead ancestors. They even take a bone of a dead person and use it for sorcery.
So, as much as I don't like Halloween in the U.S., I would prefer it any day over Halloween over here!! Freaky. |

I agree. Give me pumpkins and trick or treaters any day over what's been mentioned here. Creepy.

Re: Halloween in the Philippines
We tend to forget the strong Christian presence in America in spite of the liberal godless agenda trying to take over.

Re: Halloween in the Philippines
I do know that there is a dark underside to Halloween in the United States as well. It is still a day on which great evils are performed, Satan is glorified, and there are sorceries practiced. Black cats are vulnerable, and animal shelters will not adopt them out during the month of October, and recomend that people take extra care of them for the month. These things are all tragic facts about the hidden American Halloween.

I don't know what others did, but Gail, myself, and our boys enjoyed scaring the trick or treaters!

I have two workers in the Philippines - no wonder they haven't responded to my emails - they're hanging out in the graveyard. Creepy - they do something similar in Guatemala.
