I want to give thanks to my God today
He sealed me with the Holy Spirit of promise when I was just an 11 year old child.
He sent a man of God to preach the gospel to me in the mall when I was 15, and I was baptized in Jesus' name. There are many years that I have lived for God. There have been times that I have faltered. The times I have faltered, I have paid a price for. Oh that all the years of my life had been spent in service to the Lord. He has answered my prayers when my family was sick. I've witnessed firsthand the healing power of God. There have been times when I was so sure of my walk with God, I knew the direction that I was to take and I spoke the word of God with boldness to those I knew. There are times when I am not certain of the path I'm on, and I just put myself in his hands, praying that he will lead and guide and direct my path by faith. Oh how I pray for the church and every one of us today that we are moved by the Holy Spirit to walk in faith towards heaven, that we make heaven our home. Oh, that we would not falter now, but continue on towards the prize of our calling. Oh that we would have a mighty outpouring of the Spirit that would move us to repentance, as God moved on others who have been revived and have absolutely transformed there cities because of Christ working in them mightily. Jeremiah 9 1Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people! |

Re: I want to give thanks to my God today
I want to thank God for giving me the gift of the Holy Ghost. Growing up, I never knew that the Holy Ghost could live inside our temples.
God answered my prayers to learn of Him when I was in my early 20s. It is amazing to know that in this country, a place where there is a church on nearly every corner, one doesn't know that the Holy Ghost can and does live within a human temple because this fact is not taught in many of our churches today. Since then, I have walked through dry valleys and through the abundance of rain knowing that Yeshua is always here regardless of where I walk. I am thankful for God's grace because I simply am not worthy. Without His grace, where would we be? |
