It's been a along time since I've seen this

It's been a long time since I've been in a service like this.
Have you ever been in a service like this?

Re: It's been a along time since I've seen this

I watched bits of the video.

I have been in services where they talked all about God and not to Him and worked themselves up into some kind of frenzy.

I've also been in services where the entire focus has been talking to God and worshiping Him and telling Him how great He is and how holy He is, and worthy and His glory has fallen.

I'm not sure which kind of service you think this is, or what it is about this service that you're fond of, so I'm not going to comment further.

When there is 23 seconds left, you'll notice Borat on the left side of the video, planning his next visit. :D

"As the time of the end draws near," saith the LORD, "there will be greater emphasis on worship than upon righteousness."

This video brings to mind the aforementioned essence of an interpretation for a "message in tongues" received during the famed Azuza Street revival of the early 20th Century in Los Angeles, California (paraphrased, of course).

Why is it that so many are quick to stress worship, while righteousness seems to be relegated to a secondary role? Are we witnessing the fulfillment of the noted Azuza Street prophecy?

I guess I'm curious if people here are familiar with services like this.
If anyone still has services like this.

I do believe that heartfelt worship and praise does please God.

Lafon - why did you mention people being unrighteous?
I'm not sure how you get that from watching people praise and worship.

Yes many times mostly in Trinitarian Churches but the same basics. I always prefered a more Charismatic style. I have enjoyed these also.

Amanah, I do not know where you found that, but I enjoyed what I could for the moment. I am planning on watching the whole thing soon.

Amanah,

Folk here are too educated and dignified to do anything more than lift their hands.
