Can you name some great Revivals and name what was great about them?

I remember the revival where Sister Kelly got the revelation that she shouldn't wear britches.

That one will go down in the books for sure.

You know, Berk, I was posting tongue-in-cheek.

The revival I mentioned really did happen, and the lady in question did get these revelations. I know some will say she just succumbed to peer pressure, but whatever.

As for the ear rings, she had been in the church about a month, and had quit her pants the morning after she got the HG.

She had never been in an Apostolic church before, and nobody had had time to tell her anything.

ANyway, one night during service, I noticed her holding her abdomen with a look of pain on her face.

Finally, while we were singing, she came forward for prayer. I didn't know it, but she had been diagnosed with a bad abcess where she had had a recent hysterectomy. All I knew was that she was in pain.

As I got ready to anoint her, the Holy Ghost spoke to me and directwed me to ask her if she would take off her ear rings before I prayed for her. She had four in each ear.

Well, I balked. I hasd never done anything remotely like that before. But the Lord pressed me in my spirit about it, so i did exactly what He had said do.

I said, "Sister Kelly, would you take your ear rings out?"

If she had said no, I would have prayed for her anyway, because I had no instrrructions otherwise. All He said was to ask.

So she looked at me and said, "Sure."

She took them out, handed them to someone, and I laid hands on her.

She was instantly slain in the Spirit and got up healed, and with a conviction about ear rings.

I know this isn't what Prax wanted, but you asked, so I answered.:)
