Early Christmas Present

After three and a half months of unemployment, an opportunity came my way today!

Merry Christmas!

It's just a temporary job, but it's back at the company where I worked for 18 years. A manager turned in his notice on Friday and since it will take a while to replace him, they called and asked if I would help out through a temp agency.

I signed up with the agency and will start working Wednesday. I'll be doing only half of his responsibilities, but I was their first choice since I already know the company and processes.

What a blessing! Thank you Lord for continuing to look out for me!

I don't get it tho. If this is the company you worked before and they know your work already and they're gonna have to replace this guy anyway, why don't they just go ahead and hire you straight up?

I don't have all the experience that is needed for this position. It requires an engineering degree.

I'm actually in discussion with another department that has a position that might be available soon. Also, waiting to get a call for an interview at FedEx.

God has it all under control!
