Weighty Decision Made
 

I have NEVER had to kick out a roommate before.

Last night, I kicked out one of my roommates. Actually, I gave him up to March 1, as I know it would be difficult for him to find a place that will accept him and his dog.

The crazy thing is, I think he has a few decent attributes and some day he will be a good man. As for now, I've grown weary of tolerating him.

He has the 2nd largest bedroom in our house and he pays the most rent. Still, I am willing to endure this temporary financial set back for a roommate who keeps his word.

Peace is more valuable than cash.

It's not the guy I told you about.

This other guy has a few issues that I refuse to tolerate any longer. Smoking is one of the issues. I don't want it on my property period and I found a lighter on my front porch. We had talked about this at least 5 different occasions before my decision to send him away.

It wasn't an easy decision to make, as he has a decent personality.
