Back in the 90's our youth group back in Texas did the purity rings. My wife was one of the volunteers that helped make them at some jewelry shop I believe.

The only problem I had was that my wife kept wanting to take a vow of celibacy!

I've never given my daughter one (mainly because I do not have a daughter) but if I did it probably wouldn't be a ring, rather it would be a 14th Century chastity belt.

It would be dangling from my gun holster, right next to the spare clip.

I think a ring would be really sweet, TS. :) I'm not sure you need one, though. I would emphasize it being a symbol of her commitment to God--not to her Dad. JMO!

It should be for her to wear until a wedding ring takes its place.

well, of course it leads to commitment to God, but on wedding day dad is doing the giving. :thumbsup well, suppose to be.

What should be Approx age of such?

Maybe 13-16?

I just found out today that my daughter is "secretly" taking me to an out of town "father daughter banquet" for my birthday. I'm so excited! She's only 7....I stumbled across an email verification of it, and got my wife to fess up. I'll act very surprised when she tells me...
