The Family Budget
 

Consider a family with the following budget:

Income: $24,700
Expenses: $33,500
New Credit Card Debt: $13,300
Existing Debt: $153,300
Spending Cuts: $385

Add 8 zeroes to each category and you have the US Federal government.

Our president finally offered a budget! Problem is he proposed a budget with a $1.3 trillion deficit. No one seems to care in DC. None of Obama's supporters and defenders here will even address this major problem. They will blindly vote for him because he's a Democrat, becasue he's black, because he has a good image, because he's a good husband/father, etc. They will ignore the fact that he is a HORRIBLE PRESIDENT!

We pay $8 billion A WEEK in interest on our debt. At the rate of spending BO is proposing, we will be paying $20 billion a week in interest in 13 years! ITS UNSUSTAINABLE!
