God knows what HE is doing as HE always has known.
Someone very close to our family, had a great-grandmother, grandmother and great-aunt who came out of the Assemblies of God (trinitarianisn) over 60 yrs ago. They had heard and seen the revelation of the Mighty God IN Christ Jesus. They went to a neighboring apostolic church about ten miles from our city until they died. One grandson out of that entire large family, was/is the only male figure that walked in the apostolic way. Twenty years ago he married into our family after graduating from Bible School. His parents never walked in truth as did her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, but out of that family God perserved a seed to carry on the heritage of truth.

My own late father was the only male figure in his family, who embraced apostolic truth, when he and his mother heard the apostolic message in !933. God used Dad to raise up the church where four generations of his family now attend. Out of Dad & Mom's family, there are now many that obeyed the truth. Some pastors, some teachers, some saints.

The grandson of the three ladies that came out of trintitarianism over 60 yrs ago, now pastors the church my late father birthed and pastored until his passing in 1989. God chooses and calls those HE pleases. HE knows those who will carry on the truth and HE know those who won't follow through. HE knows who will endure (by HIS help and grace) to the end of their lives. Then, He will have someone else who HE has been preparing, like David, Joseph, Moses, like Paul, etc. Many are called, but few are chosen. Chosen of God, and precious.

Sis. Falla, you post was an encouragement to me. I am fortunate that I can trace my own families Pentecostal lineage to my own great-grandmother. Though many left for what this worlds goods and pleasures, I am determined that I shall pass this legacy on to my eventual children, and as many others as I possibly can.

I am also so thankful for my heritage! Had it not been for my dear maternal grannie, I would have not known this truth! So glad to be passing on down to my grandchildren! Thank You Jesus and Grannie! :heart

No one in my family that I know of was ever Apostolic. I am the only one. So i dont know what it is like to have a family that loves this great TRUTH BUT I am so thankful to be part of the family of GOD and TRUTH revealed to me..This June 22 made 26yrs ago that at 15yrs old I was baptized in JESUS name. I had recd the Holy Ghost Feb same yr during revival. I NEVER shall forget the day when all the burdens of my soul were rolled away. GOD has been sooo very very good to me! Bless HIS HOLY name - JESUS!

i came from a long line of trinitarians, our family is made up of church of christ, baptists free will baptist and pentacostals.

I grew up in the church of God, which was formerly assemblies of God also tracing heritage back to asuza street revival, I have since walked away from the apostolic doctrine as i dont consider it truth anymore and have found my way into a Non denominational pentacostal ministry. I see God doing things and moving Here.

My pastors grandmother just passed away. She had dementia and completly forgot who she was and who her family is. However even sitting in a chair lost to everyone around her if you got close enough to pray her Spirit person would awake and she would begin to pray. they had brought a baptist preacher into pray for her and the old grand mother laid her hands on him and he received a Dose of the Holy ghost. she was a trinitarian pentacostal.

what I see is God preserving seeds in people who love him, not some specific religious movment.
