Greetings from Nashville...
 

I wanted to introduce myself, and hope to become a regular here.

I am a former Church of God minister, was in the COG for 18 years. I backslid with moral failure and then came back to Christ through the ministry of an Apostolic Church. I was baptized in Jesus Name in 2009, and am now trying my best to find my way within the Apostolic movement.

Looking forward to getting to know some folks in the forum, and hopefully gain some acquaintances of common conviction.

Welcome to AFF Bro Robbins.

You should consider your time here as coffee shop chat in your travels. I surely would not use AFF as a compass to find your way within the Apostolic movement. We all have common convictions, just different interpretations of those convictions.

From reading some of the other threads, it would seem I'm probably a lot more conservative on some issues, and not as much on others.... not sure what label that gives me, but I'm sure someone will be glad enough to tell me in due time, LOL.

I thank God I found the Acts 2:38 message, or better yet that it found me. I was in a horrible place in my life, had failed the Lord so miserably, had brought such disgrace to the ministry, those that had confidence in me, and to myself. And I wandered into a good Apostolic church and found what I was looking for and was home.

I would ask your prayers, I'm currently without a home church... sort of in a strange place in my walk with the Lord right now, and having always had a church home, and always been a worker, it's a strange place to be... but I trust this as a time of growing.
