What Kind of Tree Is This?
1 Attachment(s)
I've got a tree blooming in my front yard and can't figure out what kind it is. See pic below. I think it's some kind of cherry tree since it puts forth a fruit in the summertime that resembles a cherry...

There are like "false" cherry trees, you might best take a clipping to a nursery.

I think it may be some kind of dogwood tree. It's sure pretty.

You might ask T2W.

Re: What Kind of Tree Is This?
My thought that was a type of dogwood, but I am far from being an expert in various flora and fauna (fauna being esier to tell apart than flora).

Re: What Kind of Tree Is This?
I agree with the Flowering Crabapple after looking at google images.
The branching structure splits near the base and spreads out like a dogwood. I wish I could grow a Dogwood here, but they don't do well in these parts as the soil is black clay with limestone beneath. They do much better in sandy/more acidic soils, from East Texas and points east... Thanks for y'alls help... |
