NBC and the altered Zimmerman quote
Wow.
NBC altered the 911 call to make Zim appear racist. Story here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...g.html?hpid=z6 |
Re: NBC and the altered Zimmerman quote
Egregious. They should be fined, IMO.
THAT is the kind of propaganda that just feeds hate and angst on BOTH sides of the aisle. Good grief. THEIR agenda is crystal clear, isn't it? However, other news sites have been reporting the full context of the call and NBC's attempt at subverting the truth of the situation doesn't change my perception of the facts, so far. Unfortunately, a lot of people are easily swayed by the MSM and lack either the ability or wherewithal to dig up the truth on their own. |

I haven't made any absolute judgments--yet. Why? Because all the facts aren't out. Unfortunately, many people HAVE made absolute judgments and have decided without all the facts that Zimmerman killing Trayvon was justifiable. Others have made the absolute judgment that Zimmerman was in the wrong and had no right to shoot Trayvon. My posts have been exploratory and opinionated, but I haven't made a firm decision one way or the other. Like you, I'm waiting for all the facts to appear. That said: Based on everything I've read so far, I don't favor Zimmerman. And the fact that you might disagree with my assessment doesn't mean MY views are distorted. :rolleyes2 Interestingly enough, the fact that NBC altered the 911 call to make it appear racist does not negate the IDEA that this is possibly a hate crime. It's the old adage of, "Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean people aren't out to get me." I think that's where a lot of people are going awry, and it's the fault of the MSM AND influential members of the black community. They have created a polarizing effect with their rhetoric and sloppy reporting whereas people choose a viewpoint based on opposing groups or philosophies rather than choosing a viewpoint based on the facts. |
