A friend's passing

I found out very early this morning that a friend and coworker passed away last Wednesday. I had often invited him to church, however he never came. Please remember his friends and family in prayer. His wife has been undergoing treatment for cancer for a year or more now. He was 52 years old.

Jay, very tragic. I will be praying for the family and friends. I can only imagine what this poor woman is going through battling cancer and losing her husband during the process.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. I will be praying for his family to find comfort and peace. I hope that many loving friends and family are surrounding his wife and will help in practical ways as she was probably leaning heavily on her husband during her illness.

GREAT LORD GOD, we humbly, yet boldly ask that You would look down upon this family, this wife and children. LORD, undergird this dear wife and give her courage, strength and all that she needs to go on without her spouse. LORD, YOU can be ALL she needs You to be. I pray that she will find YOU in a way that she will know that YOU are That Friend that sticketh closer than a brother,,,or spouse! May PEACE and COMFORT fill her house! In Jesus Name!
