Obama Backpedalling on Criticism of SCOTUS

Monday, the POTUS made inflammatory comments about the SCOTUS. In an alarming speech, the POTUS said it would be unprecedented for the SCOTUS to overturn a law passed with a strong majority by democratically elected members of Congress.

It's hard to believe that he was the editor of the Harvard Law Review and a former constitutional law professor at Chicago University. The SCOTUS has been overturning laws by deeming them unconstitutional since 1803! What does he think the SCOTUS is for?

Tuesday, the defenders of BO were out in force "clarifying" what he meant. This one is going to backfire big time during the election. It's amazing how hardly a week goes by that this administration doesn't give the GOP plenty of ammunition and ad campaign material for fall elections.

Not only do we have precedent, it's quite common. What is unprecedented is a president who is that ignorant.

The quesstion isn't one of evidence, but rather will the GOP take advantage of it? Granted they have a small dilemma in what material to use since BHO gives a campaign worth every week!

The strong majority that passed Obamacare? 219-212 in the House with zero Republicans and about 20 Dems voting against it. I wouldn't call that a strong majority...
