Well, I'm crying it will cost us approx $2,000 to cut down a couple of pine trees from the drought. "Are they twice as tall as your house?" "Yes" Such has been my day. Arghhh!

Wow. I'm sure you'll be getting a second opinion on that! Unless all the tree service companies have raised their rates uniformly, supply and demand, et al.

I'm checking on it. Looks like most are pricing it the same. They are huge trees, but better than falling on the house during the next tropical storm. I never liked them anyway - pine cones all over the yard. I didn't have a use for them.

I could have found something else to do with that money though. :bigbaby

Funny story, (sorry MP, I'm hijacking your thread, but you're bored anyway),

I was buying some ice cream for my husband yesterday and this man in front of me said, "You must have seen us purchase ice cream and went back to get some."

I said, "No, I didn't see it. My husbands been working 7 days a week and I wanted to get him something special."

He said, "Well, nice to see our wives are looking out for us."

I said, "It's not really healthy, so we are probably just waiting around for the insurance money."

He thought I was serious. :toofunny
